Description of Service Learner Role

Assist in our Food Pantry

Unpack boxes, restock shelves, sort donations, and guide shoppers as they make their way through the Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is a lively environment that offers continuous interaction with shoppers, other volunteers, and PRC staff.

Introduction to Human Services students Service Learner Role

Note: This is a pilot position for Human Services students only.

Social Services Support Worker

Answer Social Services assistance line calls to provide basic resource information and gather basic details about financial assistance needs. Between calls, help Senior Manager of Social Services with data entry and research projects related to client services.

Organization Requirements

Fill out a Community Service application at www.peoplesrc.org. Within 1-2 business days, an electronic waiver and further direction will be provided via email.
