CREO DuPage

CREO DuPage is a pre-college mentoring program for motivated Latinx high school students in the central DuPage area. CREO (Kray-o), which means "I believe" in Spanish provides Latinx high school students and their families with the resources and relationships to believe that they can pursue and complete college degrees that lead to rewarding careers.

Description of Service Learner Role

Virtual Coaching: Our Virtual Coaches are matched with a student for the year/semester to provide a balance of mentoring and tutoring support designed to help them acquire skills, habits, and strategies to maximize their academic success and prepare them for college rigor. Coaches are the key component to our program's success!

Organization Requirements

All CREO volunteers must complete and pass a background check, complete online safety training & mandated reporter training, and follow protocols for volunteer and student communication. To start the process, fill our our volunteer interest form at our website: www.creodupage.org/volunteer.
