Inaugural 9/11 Memorial Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Marketing and Communications Office at College of DuPage, in partnership with COD’s Homeland Security Training Institute recently announced the winners of the inaugural 9/11 Memorial Scholarship.

COD President Dr. Brian Caputo (center), Vice President for Public Relations, Communications and Marketing Wendy E. Parks (far left) and Associate Dean Public Service and Homeland Security Training Institute Tom Brady (far right) presented Nursing student Angelica Grimaldo of West Chicago and Cybersecurity student Hunter Bogwill of Glendale Heights each with $2,500 awards for the fall 2022 semester.

Established as part of the College’s commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the
Sept. 11 attacks, the 9/11 Memorial Scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing careers in first responder fields.
