As a physical education major, you will have contact with students early in the curriculum—long before the official student-teaching sequence begins.
As part of your studies during the Physical Education major at Elmhurst University, you might organize a team-building activity at an elementary

children the challenges faced by those who are physically challenged) or International
Games Day.

- College of DuPage students are required to complete an Associate in Arts degree and meet Elmhurst University admission requirements. Elmhurst gives preference to students with cumulative grade-point averages of 2.50/4.0. Serious consideration will be given to applicants with cumulative grade-point averages between 2.00 and 2.49.
- This is a recommended course sequence for students interested in pursuing the AA to BA Physical Education program with Elmhurst University. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. If this program plan is followed, students will earn an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from College of DuPage and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physical Education from Elmhurst University.
Guaranteed Admissions Program
College of DuPage students need to indicate their intention to participate in the program by filling a Guaranteed Admission Program Participation Form at the time of their application to Elmhurst University. This form should be submitted at least one year in advance of your first semester at Elmhurst University.
