College of DuPage has prepared successful culinary students since 1967. The College has one of a few programs in the nation that holds dual certification from the prestigious American Culinary Federation (ACF) in Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry Arts

Students flourish in their studies at the Culinary and Hospitality Center (CHC). The 60,000 square foot Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified facility is home to the acclaimed hospitality program. The building houses a boutique hotel, two restaurants, a retail outlet for student-made products and dining and state-of-the-art instructional kitchens. COD culinary students work and learn at both restaurants, acquiring real-life training alongside talented faculty members and top-notch chefs.

The kitchens and bake shops have all the ingredients and equipment to give students the best culinary training in the Midwest. All students begin in the state of the art Skills Kitchen, featuring individual cooking suites and then advance to the Wheat Café casual dining kitchen and complete their training in the Waterleaf Restaurant fine dining kitchen.

Both degrees and certificates are available in culinary arts, culinology and baking and pastry arts.
