The Inn at Water's Edge

Our current Standard Rate starts at $155.00 plus tax per night for either room type. An additional $10.00 per night applies for a third guest. The maximum occupancy per room is three guests.

At this time, the Inn at Water’s Edge does not offer discounted rates for AAA members, seniors, students or retirees. Our rates are standardized to ensure consistency for all guests. Discounted rates are provided to COD employees and their friends and family. An authorization form is required to guarantee the friends and family rate which will be sent to the COD employee at the time of booking.

• The Inn at Water’s Edge does not accept 3^rd party bookings or online reservations.
• The Inn does not accept same-day reservations.
• The minimum age to register is 21 years of age.

A credit card is required at the time of reservation. We accept all major credit cards. In accordance with College of DuPage’s College-wide policy, cash will not be accepted.

For directions, please use “Inn at Water’s Edge” as your destination when using a navigation system. Entering the address alone may bring you to the College of DuPage campus but not directly to our building.

The Inn at Water’s Edge is located inside the Culinary and Hospitality Center (CHC), Door 3.

Upon arrival, please park in the designated “Faculty and Staff Parking” gated lot. The entry gate will open automatically when approached. As our guest, reserved parking spaces are available for your convenience. An exit gate code will be provided to you at check-in.

The Inn at Water’s Edge has a maximum stay limit of five (5) nights per reservation to maximize training opportunities for our student interns and to maintain our boutique hotel experience.

The Inn at Water’s Edge offers a complimentary signature breakfast delivered directly to your room or to our guest lounge each morning of your stay. Upon arrival, guests will complete a breakfast card indicating their preferred delivery time, delivery location, and breakfast selections.

Check-in is any time after 3 p.m.  Check out is by 11 a.m.

One day prior to your arrival, we will call to reconfirm the details of your reservation. During this call, we will also ask for your estimated time of arrival in hopes of having your room ready when you arrive.

Early Check-In

While we cannot guarantee early check-in, we are happy to store your luggage should your travel plans require an earlier arrival.

Late Check-In

Our hotel is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note that the exterior doors to the building are locked at 11 p.m. and require a guest room key card for entry thereafter. If your travel plans require you to arrive after 11 p.m., we kindly ask that you contact the Front Desk in advance so we may assist you with building access upon arrival.

Upon request and based on availability, we can provide a rollaway bed, sofa bed or pack ‘n play prior to your arrival. There is no additional charge for these items.

Reservations must be canceled by 3 p.m. (local hotel time) on the day prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room rate plus applicable taxes. To ensure accurate processing, all cancellation requests should be directed to (630) 942-6888 or emailed to innwatersedge@cod.edu. Cancellation requests must include the guest’s first and last name, arrival date, and confirmation number.

Guests who do not arrive by 5 a.m. (local hotel time) on the day following the scheduled arrival date will be considered a no-show. The remaining reservation will be canceled, and a no-show fee equal to one night’s room rate plus applicable taxes will be charged.

The Inn at Water’s Edge follows the College of DuPage’s Holiday Schedule and is closed for all major holidays. To find out more about specific closures, please contact the Front Desk at (630) 942-6888.

In accordance with College of DuPage’s College-wide policy, the use of all tobacco products is prohibited throughout the College of DuPage campus. This includes, but is not limited to:

• cigarettes
• cigars
• pipes
• smokeless tobacco
• electronic smoking devices (e-cigarettes/vapes).

The policy applies to all indoor spaces, outdoor areas and campus grounds.

Guests may smoke inside their personal vehicles provided that all doors and windows remain fully closed.

The Inn at Water’s Edge is committed to maintaining a tobacco and drug-free environment in compliance with College regulations.

Gift certificates are available for the Inn at Water’s Edge, Waterleaf Restaurant and the Wheat Café. Gift certificates are available for pickup at the Front Desk of the Inn at Water’s Edge. 

In accordance with the College of DuPage’s College-wide policy, no animals are permitted on campus or in any college facility except:

• Service animals, as that term is defined under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not permitted at the Inn at Water’s Edge.

College of DuPage departments that wish to pay with an Internal Chargeback Form should contact the Hotel Manager, Dylan Morici. Internal Chargeback Forms must be completed, signed, and returned prior to the guest’s arrival date. Please allow sufficient time for processing, as signatures are required to complete the form.
