The College of DuPage (COD) Speech and Debate Team won awards in five categories at the recent Phi Rho Pi National Speech and Debate Tournament. COD was one of 51 community colleges from across the country to compete.
Award winners include Jake Pool, gold in extemporaneous speaking and bronze in debate, Ava Jotautus, winning bronze in prose interpretation, Livi Jotautus, winning silver in speech to entertain and Nicole Gonzalez, winning gold in informative speaking. Additional participating members include Jonas Martinkus and Jessica Swain.
