Field Studies and Outdoor Adventure Courses

Field Studies and Study Abroad courses combine classroom-based instruction with field-based experience for unique learning experiences. More information and enrollment permits, when required, are available from the Field Studies/Study Abroad office Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tuition is extra and course fees are non-refundable. Students are responsible for withdrawing from Field Studies and Study Abroad courses through the Field Studies/Study Abroad office. Students who do not pay their tuition bills are NOT automatically withdrawn from these courses. Prices and itineraries are subject to change. Refunds are not given for unused portions of a field experience. Optional trip insurance information is available in the Field Studies/Study Abroad office.

To browse courses open for registration, search myAccess by term and choose the "Field Studies" course type, along with "undergraduate" for academic level. To register for courses, go to and choose the Student Planning option.
