Blackboard Ultra
Blackboard Ultra is the College's Learning Management System. Learning Technologies is here to help faculty make the most of Ultra, providing support and training throughout the year.
Get to know Ultra! We offer training to help you learn the basics, transition your courses, maintain your gradebook, and dig deeper into tools unique to Ultra.
Training Opportunities
- Ultra Training Sessions (In Person and Zoom) We have sessions at varying times and days on a wide range of Ultra topics. Check out our schedule and register today!
- Asynchronous Ultra Training We're offering self-paced Ultra Basics and Ultra Gradebook courses. You can take them for PDH or just to learn more about Ultra.
- Request a Small Group Training Want to get all your faculty moved over at once? We can help you all learn in a small group session!
Support Resources
- Blackboard Ultra Support in the LT Knowledge Base
- Join the Faculty Ultra Resources & Support organization where you can learn all about Ultra and how to use it successfully.
- Don’t see what you need, get further help from Blackboard: Blackboard Ultra Help for Instructors
- Check out faculty member Christine Monnier’s posts about Ultra! She shares where to start, her reactions to Ultra changes, and more.
- Book an appointment with an Instructional Designer. Need a little extra help with your courses or specific questions about moving to
Ultra? We've got Instructional Designers for that! We now have a request form that
allows you to book a 30 minute session with one of Instructional Designers.
Before booking a 30-minute appointment with an instructional designer, we strongly encourage you to complete Blackboard Ultra training (available in both live and self-paced formats). These sessions will give you the foundation you need so our meeting time can focus on your specific questions and course needs.
