Lombard Garden Club Scholarship Program Criteria

• Award Amount: Up to $3,000.00
• Scholarship Payable: May 2026
• Residency Requirement: Must be a Lombard resident
• College Plans: Pursuing a career related to horticulture, ecology, landscape design, agriculture, environmental conservation, botany, forestry or related fields.
• Academic Achievement: “C” average or better
• Extracurricular Participation: Encouraged

To apply, please submit an application including:

• Official transcripts
• Activities both at school and outside the school setting
• Two letters of recommendation from teachers or school counselors
• Student’s statement of career goals

Applications need to be received no later than March 13, 2026 and should be emailed to swiemer@turnstonedev.org. The Lombard Garden Club Scholarship Committee will select recipients by April 3, 2026. 

After receiving the scholarship, the recipients are expected to write a letter of appreciation to the Lombard Garden Club at the below address.
