Mental Health Issues Among College Students

According to Mayo Clinic, anxiety and depression among college students has significantly increased, especially since the start of the pandemic. In addition, up to 44% of college students reported having symptoms of depression and anxiety.

This first installment of the documentary series Lifelines examines growing metal health issues among college students. Learn more about the often misunderstood and stigmatized mental health concerns of depression and anxiety affecting this significant segment of the population. “Find Your Balance on Your Path to Mental Health” explores the pressures facing students today, identifies signs and symptoms of various mental illnesses, outlines avenues for seeking treatment and shares stories detailing personal struggles.
