Counseling and Advising for First-Generation Students

While you might be the first person in your family to attend college, you don’t have to take on this new life experience alone. There is a world of opportunity and assistance available for first-generation students at COD.

Attend the First-Generation Group

The First-Generation (First-Gen) Group is for first-generation students who are experiencing a mix of feelings while attending COD, unsure of the next steps to take throughout the semester or for students who want to meet other first-generation students.

The First-Gen Group can help you connect with other first-generation students, give you a platform to ask questions and build your support team on campus. Scholarship information will be shared during the Zoom event.

Thursday, Nov. 18
