Academic Advising

Counselors and program advisors are available to help current College of DuPage students explore academic interests and develop an educational plan throughout your time at COD. Counselors and program advisors are available to meet with you both in-person and virtually. Academic advising is an ongoing process and your counselor or program advisor is your educational partner throughout your time at COD.

Students can schedule an academic planning meeting with a counselor or advisor for:

  • Academic program exploration
  • Career exploration
  • Mapping out general academic plans
  • Identification of academic strengths and opportunities for improvement
  • Strategies for success in college

Summer and Fall Advising

From May 31 through Aug. 26, Counseling, Advising and Transfer Services will see students on a walk-in basis at the Glen Ellyn campus. Limited in-person appointments at the COD Centers and virtual appointments will be available.
