Build the Tech Behind Tomorrow

The Computer and Information Science (CIS) program gives you flexible, hands-on pathways into today’s fast-moving tech world.

Choose from six Associate in Applied Science degrees in areas such as application and technical support, game animation and design, game programming and development, and software development. You can also earn from more than 15 industry certificates to sharpen specialized skills or stay current as technology evolves.

CIS courses are designed not only for future IT professionals, but also for working adults in other fields who want to use current and emerging technologies in their careers. Recent course offerings include AI Technical Essentials, Swift Programming, AR and VR Development, Human-Computer Interaction, and Data Analytics and Visualization—skills employers are actively seeking.

Students learn in state-of-the-art facilities located in the Seaton Computing Center (SCC) and Berg Instructional Center (BIC). Labs feature high-tech classrooms, AR and VR environments, visual and simulation labs, networking and server labs, and dedicated spaces for software, web development, and end-user training—so you graduate with real-world experience, not just theory.
