Can you break into the building, steal the secured information, and break out without security catching you? That depends on your mathematical prowess! Try this virtual escape room where you'll be asked to solve puzzles and mathematical problems to figure out the codes and clues you need to succeed. The activity will be relevant to students with some Algebra II background, but also includes questions that are logic-based and not curriculum-based. A family or small group of friends can work as a team to solve the puzzles or you are welcome to try it alone.
This activity will premiere on Friday, April 23 at 9 a.m.
The mathematics program at the University of St. Francis exposes students to the various topics in undergraduate mathematics along with analytical skills to continue lifelong learning and application of mathematics. Dedicated faculty members get excited about innovations in technology and education and bring both to their classrooms. They also work closely with their students to cultivate a student's personal interest.
The Noyce STEM Educator Scholarship provides scholarships for qualifying students who major in Biology or Mathematics with Secondary Licensure at USF. Scholarships are awarded for the final three years of the 4+1 program.
