College Theater at College of DuPage will stage its annual presentation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” from Nov. 21 to 29 in Belushi Performance Hall at the McAninch Arts Center, located on the College’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. 

Adapted for the COD Theater program in a family-friendly 70-minute show by William J. Norris, Dickens’ treasured tale of Ebenezer Scrooge is brought to life by a high-spirited cast of 50 local actors and children. The show, directed by Amelia Barrett, creates the perfect family event to usher in the holiday season. 

Show times are Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 and 5 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 28, at 2 and 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. Join the director and actors for a post-show discussion following the 5 p.m. performance on Saturday, Nov. 21.  

Tickets are $18 for youth and $20 for adults, and $2 from each ticket sold supports COD music, theater and dance students through the John Belushi Scholarship Fund.
