The Massage Therapy Licensure Program at College of DuPage offers clinical experience in our dedicated facilities. With its convenient location and access to the comprehensive resources of COD, this program is the right choice for your next step.
Program instructors have 10 to 30 years of career experience, bringing you up-to-date, in-depth study of Western approaches, including the most popular massage techniques, such as Swedish, seated, prenatal, sports and clinical. This well-established, short-term program offers small class sizes, flexible scheduling and thorough exam preparation.
Virtual Information Sessions
Students are required to attend this introduction prior to starting the program. Topics covered include course logistics, career expectations and an overview of massage therapy curriculum. The information session is free and registration is required. There are no pre-requisites prior to admission, however requirements are over 18 years old and either a high school diploma or GED.
Information sessions for Summer 2022 enrollment will take place on campus at SRC 1125.

Massage Therapy Licensure Program Overview
Our one-year program includes lecture and hands-on training in the theory and practice of various modalities of massage, and also incorporates business principles, communication, ethics, the sciences of kinesiology and pathophysiology and clinical studies. Books and fees are approximately $300 to $400

Upon successful completion of the College of DuPage Massage Therapy program, you will be eligible and prepared to take the MBLEx exam for Illinois state licensure. COD's pass rate is 98%.
