Welcome to the College of DuPage Nursing Department web site. We hope you will find the information you need to help you get started in a wonderful career in the nursing field. The first thing you MUST do for any of the programs in the Nursing Department is attend a Program Advising Session.

Specific questions about the application and admission to the program(s) can be directed to the Health Programs Admissions Advisor (630-942-2259) or the Health Programs Admissions Specialist (630-942-2482). However, it is strongly recommended that you attend the Program advising session as a first step.

"I have heard from many sources that if two graduates are equally qualified for a job, the employer will choose the COD graduate due to how well the COD program prepares their students. Their nursing instructors are well-qualified to teach the courses and bring with them life experiences."

    Barbara Garay did not want to live her life wondering "what if?" So she decided to go back to school in 2008. "A friend of mine recommended College of DuPage, so I began looking into attending and immediately applied," she said. "College of DuPage has flexible class schedules that I needed. Being a mom and trying to juggle that with working, COD was the perfect fit."

    Katherine Bauer first began attending College of DuPage in fall 2008 while still a high school senior.  The homeschooled student decided to earn dual credit for both high school and college while fulfilling prerequisites toward the Associate Degree in Nursing program.
