Enjoy a variety of lunch and dinner options this Spring term at Wheat Café and Waterleaf. Select dates from February to May 2012.

  • Advance reservations are required for each event. You can now make reservations online.
  • Only one seating is held per meal.
  • It is recommended that one person make the entire reservation for the group. Please have alternate dates available.
  • Some menus are repeated.

 

Wheat Cafe

The Wheat Café, located in the college's new Culinary & Hospitality Center, is a fine dining experience that offers real-life training to Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management students. Wheat Café patrons will appreciate students' culinary creativity, utilizing fresh regional and seasonal ingredients. Guests will also appreciate the students' attentive service. It is one of the most highly sought after dining pleasures in the western suburbs.

Spring 2012 Lunches

Waterleaf

International Cuisine Class Dinners
Experience the enjoyment of a wonderful and relaxing evening by taking a gastronomic tour of the world from the comfort of the enchanting Waterleaf Dining Room at the College of DuPage. Regional cuisines will feature recipes celebrating the seasons and utilizing the freshest ingredients. Guests will also appreciate attentive service as they enjoy a carefully chosen wine or beer to compliment the menu. Price $40.00 per guest. (Includes tax)

Classical French Cuisine Culinary Class Menus
Enjoy an evening of fine food and wines prepared and served by advanced culinary students.  Fresh flowers, live dinner music, and elegant, welcoming service will delight your senses at the Classical Dinners.

Your evening will begin at 6 p.m. in the Waterleaf Dining Room with a Champagne and Hors d'œuvres reception. The multi-course dinner, which follows at 6:30 p.m., will be a contemporary expression of classical French cuisine served with appropriate wines.

Reservation Information

Reservations for the entire Spring term can be made until an event is sold out. Limited seating is available at each event. We accept cash, check (payable to College of DuPage), Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

In an attempt to hold down costs, our reservation process is going green. Reservations are now made online to reduce paper copy and postage fees!

To receive all further information from Culinary and Hospitality Administration, please use the online reservation system.

The email information you provide when making an online reservation will allow timely updates of dining options and special events! With budgets shrinking and costs increasing, an electronic message allows us to hold down costs while providing our students with an opportunity to serve you!

If you do not have an email address, consider asking a friend, relative or neighbor if they would receive information on your behalf. Use their electronic information when making your reservation! Most local public libraries — including the College of DuPage Library — will be happy to help you set up a free email address.

Should you not have email access, please call (630) 942-2284. There will be a recording. Leave the information requested. Calls will be returned in the order received. Reservations are guaranteed only when availability has been determined and your phone call has been returned.
