- The Continuing Education and Computer and Information Technology programs at College of DuPage will provide two free GenCyber cybersecurity camps for middle and high school teachers and students this summer.
- College of DuPage has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education (CAE-CDE 2Y) through academic year 2022 by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
At the Center for Cyber Defense Education at College of DuPage, students have the opportunity to advance their education; gain new experiences; network with peers, industry professionals and potential employers; and build new skills through a variety of activities including on- and off-campus workshops, regional and national competitions and more.

The Center for Cyber Defense Education at College of DuPage is committed to bringing together students, educators and industry insiders to develop a collaborative environment dedicated to student, employee and industry success.
The College sponsors cybersecurity-related community events such as cybersecurity education workshops, camps and summer programs, state homeland security, first responder workshops and computer diagnostic check-ups. In addition, students and faculty also participate in a variety of regional and national cybersecurity competitions.
