Molter Group

Molter Group has been receiving technical assistance relative to their government contracting efforts specifically in business development through their SBA 8(a) certification at The College of DuPage IL PTAC since 2015. Molter Corporation has been very active in their 8(a) development and have had a long term mentor protégé in place. Contracting efforts have proven successful with total reporting in excess of $2 million within the assistance life cycle. IL PTAC at College of DuPage assistance has run the gamut from supplying our customized bid matching to assist client in identifying leads to high level assistance of proposal analysis. IL PTAC at College of DuPage commitment to Molter Corporation is to help in providing the owner a more in depth understanding of federal contracting that would allow the company to maximize the opportunities. Recently, we have been advising the client on the merits of the SBA Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program, assisted in identifying NAICS within the program and offered guidance in certifying appropriately. Loretta has taken advantage of numerous seminars and learning opportunities we offer to stay current in her federal contracting knowledge. She is a dynamite networker! While, this Molter Group has graduated from the SBA 8(a) Business Development program, they will continue to be a strong small business federal contractor and is now looking to act in a mentor capacity for another SBA 8(a) company.

Loretta Molter, President, states: "Over the 31 years in business, we at Molter Corp. have utilized our PTAC connections. We have worked with various locations and people. With the closure of a number of PTAC's in Illinois, we transferred to College of DuPage under Rita Haake's direction. How can we say how great Rita is without sounding phony and unappreciative of the other PTAC's we used . . . that's a tough one. Quite sincerely, Rita IS the best one that we had by far! Her PTAC is very active and she regularly plans seminars, events, meetings and one on one assistance, all of which have always been beneficial. Any event she has planned was well worth the time to attend. Add into this mix, Amber Gardner, PTAC Coordinator who is following Rita's path. If you are a new 8(a) you have the best of times. The training you receive now is so much better than when we became 8(a) certified in 2008. Remember the economy was failing and projects were being cancelled. So enjoy the now, you have been given a great opportunity and you can do it! And to Rita we say . . . , go gal, keep up the good work!"
