GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network)

GLSEN is the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe schools for all students. Established in 1990, GLSEN envisions a world in which every child learns to respect and accept all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. GLSEN seeks to develop school climates where difference is valued for the positive contribution it makes to creating a more vibrant and diverse community.

Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 3 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQIA+Q people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

It Gets Better

The It Gets Better Project is a nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe. Growing up isn’t easy, especially when you are trying to affirm  and assert your sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It can be a challenging and isolating process – but, the good news is, no one has to do it alone.

LAMBDA Legal

Lambda Legal’s expert staff works for equality in five offices around the country—New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles - maintaining a national network of volunteer cooperating attorneys in addition to a legal help desk to respond directly to queries regarding discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression.

Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline is a national trans-led 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of trans lives by responding to the critical needs of our community with direct service, material support, advocacy, and education.
