Follow through on your New Year's resolution to do good in our community. Many activities are open to the entire family.
Volunteers Needed
- Greet clients and help distribute food and clothing with People's Resource Center. Contact Lucinda Page to volunteer.
- Volunteer with DuPage Pads to provide weekly support in the resource center or front desk help at DuPage Pads Interim Housing Center.
- Sew neck coolers to be included in care packages shipped overseas to deployed service members through Operation Support Our Troops-America. Contact Traci for simple instructions.
- CREO DuPage provides Latinx students with resources and experiences for academic success. Become an academic coach or mentor and help students prepare for and pursue a college degree.
- Visit the Giving DuPage Volunteer Search Portal for current and urgent volunteer needs.
Please note: COD Cares compensated service hours are only applicable to group service activities hosted by COD Cares and, therefore, are not applicable to the above list.
In-kind Donations
- Shop online and donate essential items needed in 360 Youth Services emergency shelter and transitional housing.
- Special hair care products are needed for clients of Bridge Communities.
- The Outreach House supports the community through food pantry, clothes closet and job assistance services. In-kind donations of food, clothing and infant necessities are urgently needed.
- DuPage Pads needs help providing clients with urgent donation needs. Drop off donations at the Client Services Center.
