Office Technology Information
Office Technology Information's three associate's degrees and six certificates offer valuable training as you pursue a career that provides administrative support to any type of business or organization, from education and health care to government and retail trade, manufacturing and construction.
Each OFTI certificate or degree will enable you to develop your skills, using current technology and procedures that are necessary for a successful professional career in an exciting environment.
Office support staff are administrative and executive assistants, secretaries (legal or medical), office managers, clerical staff or receptionists. The position title and job level may be determined by education, experience and responsibility. High-level administrative support positions will demand a higher salary than lower-level positions.
A career in administrative support involves effectively and efficiently performing and coordinating various office administrative tasks necessary to a successful operation.
Administrative support individuals serve as communication and information managers. They will always play a key role in the success of businesses and organizations because technology cannot take the place of good communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills.
The OFTI program will help you prepare for this challenge.
