Advanced Placement to the Associate Degree Nursing Program

Important Note: This placement is into the concept based new A.D.N. curriculum. At this point, courses from the old curriculum will no longer be offered. The packet currently under development will determine where students from the old curriculum will fit within the new curriculum framework.

Advanced placement students are those students seeking and potentially qualifying for placement in the second, third, or fourth semester of the College of DuPage Associate Degree Nursing Program.

This includes the following students:

1. Practical Nurses licensed in Illinois and who graduated from a regionally or professionally accredited program.

2. Former COD Associate Degree Nursing students seeking readmission to the A.D.N. program,

3. A.D.N. transfer students from other pre-licensure (registered) nursing programs.

Note that the admission packet for students seeking advanced placement for Fall 2014 or Spring 2015 is in development. The admission packet should be available by May 16, 2014.
