Wheat Cafe

The Wheat Café, located in the college's Culinary & Hospitality Center, is a casual dining experience that offers real-life training to Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management students. Wheat Café patrons will appreciate students' culinary creativity, utilizing fresh regional and seasonal ingredients. Guests will also appreciate the students' attentive service. It is one of the most highly sought after dining pleasures in the western suburbs.

Spring 2015 Regional American Cuisine Lunches

Wheat Café is open this Spring Semester for dinners on Wednesdays and lunches on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Meal service begins Wednesday, February 4th and runs through Friday, May 1st. 

Lunch reservations may be made for 11:15, 11:30, or 11:45 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Regional Cuisine Lunch: $17.00 per person (Includes 8.25% tax)

Dinner reservations may be made for 6:45, 7:00, or 7:15pm on Wednesdays.

Regional Cuisine Dinner: $25.00 per person (Includes 8.25% tax)

Classical Cuisine Culinary Class Dinners

Enjoy an evening of fine food and wines prepared and served by advanced culinary students. Fresh flowers and elegant, welcoming service will delight your senses at the Classical Dinners. The multi-course dinner, in the Waterleaf dining room, is a contemporary expression of classical French cuisine served with appropriate wines.

The total cost of each evening of gourmet dining is $60 per person. (Includes 8.25% tax). Seatings are at 6, 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. on select Tuesdays this Spring beginning February 3rd.

International Cuisine Class Dinners

Experience the enjoyment of a wonderful and relaxing evening by taking a gastronomic tour of the world from the comfort of the enchanting Waterleaf Dining Room at the College of DuPage. International menus prepared by our students will feature recipes celebrating the seasons and utilizing the freshest ingredients. Guests will also appreciate attentive service as they enjoy a carefully chosen wine or beer to compliment the menu.

The total cost of each evening of gourmet dining is $45 per person. (Includes 8.25% tax). Dinner is served at 7 p.m. on select Mondays this Spring beginning February 23rd.

Reservation Information

Limited seating is available at each event. Reservations may be made until an event is sold out. Should you not have internet access, please call (630) 942-2284. Calls will be promptly returned in the order received. Reservations are guaranteed only when availability has been determined and your phone call has been returned.

We accept cash, check (payable to College of DuPage), Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
