Statewide Speed Awareness Day Event Promotes Safer Roads
Joe Cassidy, Vice President for Workforce Innovation and Community Education at College of DuPage, addresses attendees during an Illinois Speed Awareness Day press conference on the College's Glen Ellyn campus, flanked by law enforcement officers from agencies across Illinois. Organized by the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, the event highlighted the importance of safe driving and featured the reading of a proclamation signed by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker recognizing Illinois Speed Awareness Day.
