Security and event planning go hand-in-hand. This one-day course is designed to inform and educate public safety officials and other government officials in safety concerns and considerations relating to planning and preparing for major events in their jurisdiction. Instruction covers interrelated aspects of security and event planning, including intelligence planning, risk assessment, security planning and incident management.
During this program, students will be provided time to work on plans for events for their respective jurisdiction and will be provided planning templates.
