This two day course will build on the Crime Scene Investigator's fingerprinting knowledge and skill by discussing several advanced fingerprinting techniques to include but not limited to: ninhydrin processing, cyanoacrylate fuming both in the field and at the station, small particle reagent, amino black and LCV as well as processing fingerprints on difficult surfaces such as fabrics, leather, rough surfaces and wet surfaces. The attendees will learn how to determine what processing technique, lifting technique and packaging technique to use based on the given surface and specific situation. This course includes several hands on practical exercises.
