INTP 2110: ASL Interpreter Practicum

Students are provided with opportunities to apply their interpreting skills in a variety of settings. The requirements include off-campus assignments with a mentor and a weekly colloquium. Students must be available during the day and evening for interpreting assignments. Test preparation will also take place during this course. This course can only be taken on a pass/fail basis.

Interpreting 2107 with a grade of C or better, or equivalent and Interpreting 2108 with a grade of C or better, or equivalent or consent of instructor.

Technical Requirements

Students must have regular access to the Internet and a computer. Courses are administered through Blackboard, so students will also need a compatible OS and browser. A list of recommended software can be found here.
