Presenter: Anna Campbell, MSED, CSFA, CST, CSPDT

I have worked as a CST/CSFA for the last 25 years. I continue to work as an assistant specializing in Orthopedic surgery. I have been teaching for five years and love the combination of the two professions. I currently hold a Master’s of Science degree in Healthcare Education. I am completing my PhD in Education: Curriculum and Instruction. I believe caring for others is a beautiful gift. I will teach our students to care for patients as we would care for our families and to always place the needs of the patient above our own.

College of DuPage Respiratory Therapy

In this presentation we will cover the different career paths a Respiratory Therapist can choose from (Neonatal/Pediatrics, Adult Critical Care, Transport, Pulmonary Function Testing, Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary Rehab). We will cover academic requirements, job placement and career opportunities. Questions are encouraged and will be answered at the end of the presentation.

Presenter: Christa Brennan

I obtained an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. I went on to obtain my Bachelor's in Healthcare Leadership and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from St. Francis University. My career started in neonatal/pediatric care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2012 I had gotten married and relocated to Illinois where I worked in leadership within a hospital and program development for a small company. What I love about my career choice is there were so many avenues to pursue after graduating, but I found my first passion in helping children, from being in the delivery room for high risk deliveries all the way to teenagers with cystic fibrosis.
