In 2018, COD student Mojeri Coker travelled to Kenya to document the plight of a young Kenyan striving to resolve the water issues resulting from a long drought in his impoverished village. Join Mojeri for a screening his film award-winning film, followed by a discussion about this film-making journey.

 

"Pipe Dreams" has won two awards: Best Documentary, California Independent Film Festival (2019) and Best TV Longform Entertainment Programming, Illinois Broadcast Association Student Silver Dome Awards (2019).
