Unicom Teleservices is an organization whose total commitment is focused on providing a new wave of communication technologies and services. This small, minority/women-owned business offers 24 hour, 365 days per year agent assistance, both inbound and outbound answering services. Flexibility of text, email, fax, page and voicemail are offered to each client. In addition, Unicom Teleservices can handle web-enabled services, form intake, overflow call handling, business interruption assistance, mass notification, business location services, call filtering, registration services, database/internet support services, Help Desk including e-response, interactive voice response and more!
The Illinois PTAC at College of DuPage first assisted Unicom Teleservices in 2011 specific to a proposal questions and possible lack of information within the local scope of work. Our first and most primary goal is to ensure our client is protected and responding in a way that is in their best interest. Fast forward to 2016 and Unicom Teleservices was seeking information that advisors felt could be identifying a re-bid possibility. Center advisors researched and found the original local government contract award with details to share with client. The President at Unicom Teleservices stated,
“...the information Rita Haake, Center Manager, provided is a real eye opener. We've always been brought in as a SUB (subcontractor). Although we routinely attend 'procurement' events, we are not going at this correctly.”
This information is important to know and understand for a pricing approach. Unicom Teleservices did submit a proposal response and was the success awardee in part because of the competitive intelligence they received from our internal advisors.
