Andrew’s Garden is a European-style floral and gift shop with its original location in Downtown Wheaton, Illinois. Tonya and Andrew wanted to expand long before the pandemic in 2020. They used the time wisely and considered various options. The result is a second location in Downtown Naperville, Illinois with a Grand Opening May 2021. Since 2009, Andrew’s Garden has provided exceptional couture floral designs for any occasion. It opened its first retail location in 2013. They quickly became the “go-to” source for discerning floral aficionados in the Western suburbs of Chicago, including Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, and surrounding communities. Their following is based on exceptional personal service and floral designs unlike any others.
Andrew’s Garden finds inspiration from the open-air, garden-style flower shops found in abundance in Europe – think Paris, London, and Amsterdam. They only carry the finest quality premium blooms in a variety of colors, sizes and textures to create artful custom arrangements.
Stop in and choose a single special bloom or an AG Signature Bouquet (ask them!!), or they will create a custom bouquet or a vased-arrangement while the customer waits.
They deliver locally -also a member of B|Brooks fine flowers – a consortium of other premium florist across the country and around the world enabling us to offer personalized longer-distance floral deliveries.
Andrew’s Garden offers Floral Design Classes and Private Floral Design Parties too! They’re perfect for Birthday Parties, Book Clubs, or just for fun. Andrew is also frequently invited to provide floral design classes or demonstrations for garden clubs, private parties or in partnership with other local businesses.
In 2019 they contacted Ute Westphal, Director IL SBDC at College of DuPage. Tonya wanted a better understanding of the various financial analysis tools and healthy financial ratios so as to plan & budget more effectively. The SBDC analyzed, helped with changes for a better financial overview. The result was a better system to make business investment decisions based on a solid financial basis. When it came to decide how to expand the business the SBDC provided focused financial industry data for various options.
Quote by client: “Ute is an incredible resource! She listens so carefully & she has helped me understand our own financial statements from a business success viewpoint instead of simply a tax standpoint. Working with Ute & the SBCD makes me feel like I’m getting a free MBA!”
