This site is a good place to begin the search process for jobs. This is a basic self-assessment
tool based on the Holland personality types test. Included is a list on career help

Occupational Outlook Handbook
This government publication is a tried and true resource. LTA students can perform
a keyword search on library technicians and link to the government description of
their job, as well as receive job projections for the next five years. This is useful
for preparing to request a salary upgrade. Job seekers and students will also find
a wide variety of job descriptions and salary projections.
