Society of Women Engineers

SWEThe College of DuPage has an official college interest group affiliated with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), an international organization that encourages an inclusive environment in engineering disciplines to help women achieve their full potential in engineering careers. The group is also affiliated with the Chicago Regional SWE Section. Membership is open to both women and men, but SWE scholarships are only available to women.

The College’s SWE chapter organizes tours to different local companies and research labs, hosts speakers from various engineering fields, and travels to the Regional SWE Conference.
