Placement Test Information Sessions
In addition to the below resources, the Learning Commons offers free Placement Test Information Sessions to help COD students prepare for testing.
Math Resource
ALEKS Prep and Learn
After taking Test 1 use the ALEKS Prep and Learning module to review for the proctored placement test. The ALEKS Prep and Learning module keeps track of which math topics you know, and which ones you are ready to learn. Students have access to the ALEKS Prep and Learning module for one year. To access Test 1 and the ALEKS Prep and Learning module log-in to inside.cod.edu and click the link in the Math Placement Test section in the middle of the page.
ALEKS Geometry Placement Test has a built-in review called the Prep and Learning Module which can be accessed after taking test 1.
Free Geometry Review Workshops conducted by the Math Assistance Area provide a review of geometry topics covered on the placement test. Drop-in or Register by calling the Main Campus Learning Commons - SRC 2102: (630) 942-3941
