FRANCE – Bon Voyage
June 11 to July 11, 2015

Earn 7 credits in French Language and Humanities while experiencing French culture and joie de vivre in Bordeaux, France this summer. The city of Bordeaux is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the capital of the historic region of Aquitaine. Known as the wine capital of the world, it was the home of Eleanor of Aquitaine (mother of Good King Richard of Robin Hood fame), and was the center of conflict between the English and the French during the 13th, 14th, and 15th centuries. Historic architecture blends with the modern city, which boasts one of the most attractive riverfronts in all of Europe. The program cost of $4,699 includes home stay with breakfast and dinner throughout the program; three-day/ two-night visit to Paris with museum passes; and excursions in the Bordeaux area including museums, visits to chateaux, and the medieval village of St. Emilion. In addition, there are optional excursions to the Dune de Pyla, Arcachon Beach, and Medoc and Lacanau. Tuition for up to seven credits is extra.
