This program series introduces participants to the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and the "A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide)" that is required for gaining certification.

Business Analysis Certification Preparation Comprehensive Study
This course introduces participants to the IIBA, the certification levels and the BABOK® Guide. It then explores in depth the knowledge areas of the business analysis profession that support the IIBA certification process. The comprehensive study enables participants to prepare for the ECBA™, CCBA™ and CBAP™ examinations. 
This session contributes 21 hours of professional development. 
IIBA exam fee and required textbook not included.

Business Analysis Advanced Certification Preparation
This course expands the level of knowledge of the BABOK® Guide to enable the advanced certification requirements of the CCBA™ and CBAP™.
This session contributes 14 additional hours of professional development.
IIBA exam fee and required textbook not included.

Please note: 35-Business Analysis education hours are required to sit for the CCBA™ and CBAP™ examinations. These hours are met by registering for the Business Analysis Certification Preparation Comprehensive Study (21 hours) and Business Analysis Advanced Certification Preparation course (14 hours).

Business Analysis is a growing field. American employers will need 876,000 business analysis related professionals by 2020.* The Business Analysis program at College of DuPage supports the multi-level, competency-based certification programs of the IIBA and prepares professionals to advance their careers:

  • Junior business analysts will prepare for the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA®).
  • Mid-career and experienced business analysts will prepare for the Certificate of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA®) and Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) certification.
