Talent
Search courses provide academic enrichment
and acceleration critical to the development of gifted students.
Students enrolled in grades 3 to 12 can participate in one of
the leading programs of its kind in the country, featuring expanded
opportunities in math, science, information technology, problem
solving, literature, language and writing. Students must show
95th percentile or higher on standardized testing to participate.
Registration is accepted by mail or fax only. Please call Debra
Kennedy, Talent Search coordinator, at (630) 942-2211 for admission
information.
If registering a student for a Talent Search class for the first
time, please include a copy of student’s standardized test
scores (Iowa, TerraNova, Cogat, Stanford). If your child has
taken the Explore, SAT, or ACT as part of the Midwest Talent
Search testing, those scores may be sent instead. Students will
not be registered for Talent Search classes without verification
of eligibility.
