Who teaches these classes?
Most instructors are Illinois certified teachers working part time for College of DuPage. Some courses are taught by artists, programmers, musicians or authors who are hired for their expertise and who enjoy teaching children.

Are classes graded?
Most classes do not grade students’ work. However, through projects and activities, students receive feedback on how well they are doing. Normally, required work is completed in class. Homework and grades are given in all High School Summer School and Talent Search math and English classes.

What is Tuition Assistance?
A limited amount of MyPal tuition assistance is available, thanks to a grant from the Northern Trust Company Charitable Trust. All assistance monies are available on a first-come, first-served basis. MyPal enables students whose families qualify for free or reduced-cost lunches in their school district to attend classes at a discounted rate. To apply, call (630) 942-2841 for materials and information.
