Technology Lab
The TLC Technology Lab, located in the Student Resource Center (SRC), Room 3604, houses 9 PCs, two MACs, two color printers and four scanners. Software programs include Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator, Paint Shop Pro and Dreamweaver. A Technology Lab student assistant is available 20 hours per week, which are posted on the lab bulletin boards.
The Gateway computers in the lab are equipped with a 3 ½-inch disk drive and a CD/DVD drive, but zip drives have become obsolete and are not in the lab computers. For your data storage purposes, we recommend using a removeable USB media storage (i.e. flash drive, jump drive) to save your data unless a 3 ½-inch disk or CD will work for your needs.
The Teaching and Learning Center lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On Monday through Friday the lab door (SRC 3604) is unlocked from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To access the lab at any other time, just use your employee ID to access both the front door of the Academic Computing Center and the door to the lab.
The campus-wide policy of no food or drink applies in the TLC lab. As a visitor, we kindly ask you to please be respectful of the equipment and of other users’ space.
You can e-mail a question or schedule an individual appointment.
