What are library service policies? Who writes them? What do they have to do with me as a library worker? Debra Wilcox Johnson will examine the important role service policies play in our libraries. Service policies will be defined and compared. Discussions will include policy development and implementation, customer service, and the staff person’s role in influencing service policies. Pre and post questions, bibliographies, and Internet links to sample service policies serve to prepare viewers for the teleconference, as well as, provide relevant materials for continuing discussion.
