Welcome to the Liberal Arts Magazine of College of DuPage
Prairie Light Review, the Liberal Arts Magazine of College of DuPage, has been published for over 20 years. This free publication, funded by Student Activities fees, is the venue for creative work in District 502. It is a partnership between Student Life and the Liberal Arts Division.
Prairie Light Review can be picked up in the Library, the McAnnich Arts Building, and outside the PLR offices at SSC 3251.
Inspired by Humans of New York, the PLR staff is seeking submissions for a "Humans of DuCo" section in the journal. Entries should feature people in DuPage County and include a photograph accompanied by any of the following: a caption, an interview, or narrative essay about the person(s) in the picture.
The staff of Prairie Light Review is now working on the production of the spring 2016 issue. When this issue is released, the public is welcome to come and share in literary and musical bliss! We invite the authors who have been published in the magazine to read and discuss their creative works. A launch party date/time will be announced soon for anyone who wants to perform: poets, musicians, and storytellers. Refreshments and snacks will be served. Look for further details on the location of our release party.
