For most of us, a home and safety are synonymous.  For the one person out of four who is abused by her or his intimate partner, a home may never be safe. Domestic violence is an epidemic of major proportions.

Health professionals are busy people  -- competing for their time seems an impossible task.  It is important to catch their attention.
