Medication Maestro: Giving Intravenous Medications covers the three basic
procedures by which medications can be given intravenously: intravenous push, intermittent
intravenous infusion and continuous intravenous infusion. The program includes a practice
activity in which learners must make decisions in problem situations involving the
administration of I.V. medications to patients.
The cost of the program is $495 plus $10 shipping and handling. Free site license and networking are included. The price includes:
- A CD-ROM version containing videos of the procedures discussed in the program
- A companion videocassette showing the procedures
- An instructor's manual which includes the tests included in the program
