Open Source Investigation Techniques
Acquire techniques that can be used by law enforcement to investigate many types of cases. Each participant is provided links to hundreds of websites allowing officers to find personal information online about their targets.Explore popular social network sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in detail.Instruction includes several other sites that exploit targets and aid law enforcement in interviewing, obtaining search warrants and identifying associates. Each participant receives a flash-drive that includes a custom software pack and reference website with direct links to aid in their investigation. This is a hands-on course; participants are able to use the techniques provided during the course to search their individual targets.
