 Mission
The Student Leadership Council (SLC) of College of DuPage facilitates  values-based  opportunities for leadership development to enhance  citizenship at our college and
 in our communities.

 Vision for the Future
The SLC will aid in the individual and collective development of
College of DuPage students by collaborating with the college community
and by providing educated representation, service and leadership to
 the Student Body.

Leading in the Community
The active members of the SLC practice their servant leadership by participating in service projects that assist community agencies, as well as various departments of the college.

New Student Orientations and Involvement Fairs
New Student Orientation is an important part of becoming connected to the college. Coordinated through the Advising department, these sessions are held prior to the start of each quarter. Peer advisors and staff give you the basics of C.O.D. All new entering students will receive information about these sessions in the mail, or go to the College’s website -- New Student Orientation and sign up there.

The Student Activities staff coordinates an Involvement Fair at the beginning of Fall and Winter Quarters to inform students of the myriad of ways to get involved at the College. These fairs feature student clubs and organizations, as well as a variety of student service departments. Even if you think you don’t have time to get involved, the fairs can be fun in and of themselves. Watch the classroom bulletin boards and the Student Activities Event Calendar for more information.
