In the Math Assistance Area, COD math students may obtain one-to-one help from math instructors regarding problems students encounter while doing homework.

The Math Assistance Area is staffed with instructors who are available to answer questions about Mathematics 0452 through Mathematics 2232. If a student is taking a more specialized course, such as Mathematics 1322 or Mathematics 1635, calling ahead is recommended to see when instructors who are familiar with that specialty are available.

Appointments are not required, but are recommended for students with busy schedules or topics that are less familiar to the majority of instructors.

Videos are available to support the following courses:
Mathematics 0452, 0460, 0470, 0481, 0482, 1108, 1220, 1428, 1431, 1432, 1635, 2231, 2232, 2233 and 2235.

Fall and Spring Term Hours
Mondays to Thursdays: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fridays: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturdays: 9 a.m. to noon

Summer Term Hours
Mondays to Thursdays: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Sundays: Noon to 3 p.m.

SPRING BREAK HOURS 2010
The Academic Support Center (ASC), located in the Berg Instructional Center (BIC), Room 3040, will be closed for Spring Break: Monday, March 29 through Saturday, April 3, 2010. It will re-open at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 5.
