Requirements for obtaining an Illinois Real Estate Salesperson License:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalency
Successfully complete the Real Estate Transactions course:

Real Estate Transactions (45 classroom hours), REALE 1110 at C.O.D.

Pass the Illinois Real Estate Salesperson Examination

Requirements for obtaining an Illinois Real Estate Broker License:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalency
Successfully complete the following required coursework (120 classroom hours):

Real Estate Transactions (45 classroom hours), REALE 1110 at C.O.D.
Advanced Principles 2000 (15 classroom hours), REALE 1120 at C.O.D.
Contracts and Conveyances (15 classroom hours), REALE 1122 at C.O.D.
Brokerage Administration (15 classroom hours), REALE 1124 at C.O.D.
Financing (15 classroom hours), REALE 1126 at C.O.D.
Property Management (15 classroom hours), REALE 1128 at C.O.D.

Pass the Illinois Real Estate Broker Examination

Requirements for obtaining an Illinois Real Estate Appraiser License:
There are three levels of Real Estate Appraiser Licenses in Illinois:

Associate Real Estate Appraiser
State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser
State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser

General Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalency
Successfully complete the required coursework and experience requirements
Pass the appropriate Illinois Real Estate Appraiser Examination

College of DuPage offers the following required coursework (75 classroom hours) for the Associate Real Estate Appraiser License:

Basic Appraisal Principles (30 classroom hours), REALE 1152 at C.O.D.
Basic Appraisal Procedures (30 classroom hours), REALE 1153 at C.O.D.
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) (15 classroom hours), REALE 1154 at C.O.D.

Requirements for obtaining an Illinois Home Inspector License:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalency
Successfully complete the Home Inspection course:

Home Inspection (60 classroom hours), REALE 1170 at C.O.D.

Pass the Illinois Home Inspector Examination
